Doors open 7pm
Come and join us for an end of term pre-Christmas concert showcasing the talent of our up and coming folk starlets.
We have groups playing a selection of tunes from around the British Isles, as well as from further afield including Breton dances from France and music from the East European tradition.
Our folk singers will give renditions of both popular and less familiar songs, backed up by original accompaniments on guitar, fiddle, banjo, pipes, and the invigorating sound of the Irish drum, the bodhran.
The concert will also include some original compositions, and will end with a session-style group where our musicians get to improvise as they interpret various pieces.
Entry is free. Mulled wine and mince pies will be on sale, as well as a small selection of soft drinks.
See our How to Find Us page for directions to the school.
